Bat out of hell

    Just going through some shots I never got round to processing from early summer. This was taken in Kielder Reservoir and I can remember deciding to pull in to the side of the road, after seeing this thing making an attempt at the land speed record hurtling towards me......I stuck my head out the car window and only managed this one shot and then he was gone.....He did raise his :thumbup: to thank me for letting him through :er:;)

    he must of been going soem seeing the dust in the distance! which also adds to it very good :)

    This is a great photo. Looks like one you would see on someones wall.

    Looks like you would have steered into a problem had you not pulled over in time!?!? :shock: There wasn't much room for the two of you!

    And I do agree: the puffs of dust stirred up in his wake do make this photo as much as the overall composition and scene do ... or rather it is like the icing on the cake (for me).

    For a picture with just an every day truck this is quit very nice ! The color and comp makes this picture beautiful!
