Bathing Dove (for Ian)

    This is primarily for Ian (icassell). The dove was about to take a bath on our carport roof (which is a true bird pool...). You see, our doves look different from yours.

    Very nice. It looks like a Eurasian collared dove...which has been imported and released and is making inroads all over the Pacific west in the U.S.

    I saw and hard my first ones three years ago, and they've been back ever since. Their call is easy to imitate and it drives them nuts when you do. :lol:

    Cool capture! I like the way he is posing in the water. Looks very similar to our Morning Dove.
