Hey guys. Could you give me a hand?

I know you can use the BP-511 and BP-512 in the 300D, but I wondered if there are any others? Specifically one that will last longer. I notice they are only 1100mah. Whereas the AA NiMh's i used to use were 2100mah's.

Anyway I can get a battery with more power? And also, will the Charger that came with the camera charge those "higher-powered" batteries that I am yet to find out if they exist.

Also - is there a non-rechargeable version that I am able to use. Say I am stuck somewhere, the battery is dead and I wanna duck into a shop and pay a disgustingly high price for a non-rechargeable battery.

Thanks for any help!

Non canon ones ive seen up to 1500ma (they worked good from experence)
The 20D allows AA batts to be put in to the grip,

That was a typo, 6 AAs. It should have a cartridge.
As mentioned above thats only the 20d grip has batt support, the 300d is only canon batts

3rd party batts are cheap and I have found better than the canon ones - from 7dayshop anyway - theres a sticky somewhere here
so why not buy 3 or 4 keep them charged and change as required
i get around 300-400 shots from 1 charge on my Pro1
