I need a battery grip for a Nikon D300 ..who beside nikon makes one that is not junk, anyone use one that they have been happy with...Zeiko makes one that seems OK any thoughts? Thanks

I have a vellos grip on the d700 and its fine.

I too am looking for a good off brand grip for my D600. I heard that Meike wasn't too bad but would love to hear from someone who owns one.

I have a Zeiko battery grip for my D90 and it has worked very well for me. Not sure how their D600 or D300 grips are though!

I have a vellos grip on the d700 and its fine.

I also have a Vellos on my Canon, and it's been fine. Came as a kit from B&H, so I assume they stand behind it
