Has anyone heard of the sd-8a external battery pack for nikons sb-800 flash?
I'm reading a book right now and it references this battery pack a few times. I've looked for it in online photography shops but can't find one. I did find a bunch on ebay but they are all from hong kong.....so I'm thinking they are third party products or a knock off. Can someone point me in the right direction as to where I might be able find one in north america that is possably made by Nikon

    Thanks

    Dude,

You just don't know where to shop! :lmao:

    In stock, ready to go:

    nikon SD-8A

Bookmark B & H Photo Video. If they don't have it, you don't need it.

    Yup, what Keith said.
But it all depends on how you plan on using it, I personaly cary 32 AA already and don't wish to carry more . If you plan on shooting all day i recommend the Quantum Turbo or if you want something slimmer the Turbo SC.
The versatility of these packs are that they can power my sb-28, sb-800, sunpack 120js and my quantum lights all by changing cables. Well worth the money in my book.
