Beach bird shots from today.....

Please constructively C&C, and edit if you'd like as long as you post what changes you made.

Today for me was mostly a lesson in choosing the right aperture so I used aperture priority mode only today while constantly trying different apertures for different things.

I promise their eyes were in focus in all of these pics, but scaling them down to 800x600 it's hard to see them :x

Laughing gulls? seen one here, not to common.

most of your bird shots seem to be soft on focus the best out of them are probely 9 and 11, i like the pier shots though!

Nice catches on the birds! Could be more in focus, but I know you said you were going for aperture mode.

My favorites are
#4 and #5 the pier
#6 Thats one crazy looking bird!
#9 Looks like theres a smudge or something in the top left corner, but I love the bird in formation like they're readying for an air raid!

I like those too, these birds were way fast and hard to get!

#9, I thought so too, like an squadron ready for activation The smudge was from a quick retouch, Iphoto doesn't have a clone feature

#10 He actually caught that piece of food mid air while coming in for a landing!!!
