Bearded dragon eye

Well, here is my very first pic im posting on this forum. My hobby's are herps and taking pics. So i thought it would be a nice idea to take a pic of a herp. Its a macro of my bearded dragon. Pretty hard to do, since she doesnt sit still all the time,but i thought that this one came out pretty descent.
Its made with a fuji finepix S304, with a raynox macrolens

Tried to find the word "herps" in my dictionary to better understand whose eye I am looking at here, but there's nothing other than "herbs" (this it is NOT) and "herpes" (this it isn't, EITHER!). Big Mike: what do we look at here, what is the term?

herpology (or however you spell that), does that word ring a bell?
So its a name for a group of animals, like lizards, snakes, amfibians.....stuff like that.
And this is the eye of a bearded dragon, thats a lizard. You can find tons of info on these on google, since they are one of most kept lizards.
