    A few pics I took to post on some saltwater aquarium forums, in hopes to show newbies that algae is a beautiful, natural, necessary component of a proper reef system... enjoy, and suggestions for improvement would be welcome as always.

    well stunned when i first saw them... i been looking at them for about 15mins now!! great i cant belive they were taken underwater?! great stuff inspiring...

    No, these were not taken underwater... these are all shots of my aquarium inhabitants.

    Speaking of which, it really sucks buying a big-$$$ lens only to have to shoot through a 1/2" of pretty much the cheapest grade glass ever! Shooting through the glass on even the slightest angle, (ie. not perfectly straight through it) resulting in severe distortion.
