Beauty Portraits: Ann @ Shanghai Mansion

I was invited to do a shoot in this beautiful boutique hotel in Chinatown area of Bangkok. The place is called Shanghai Mansion. It is one of the most beautiful bourtique hotels here in Bangkok. In order to go with the settings in this hotel, we looked for a Chinese-looking girl to be our photo model and Ann was chosen among a list of selected names.

Shooting started in early afternoon and ended 7 hours later, with some regrets that we could not cover every location available. Will definitely go for a second shoot-out some time later, if there is a chance.

The girl is absolutely beautiful!

I like the coloring in the photographs, at least most of them.

The settings/backgrounds are nice, although some of them look kinda cluttered and disconcerting in the photo's.

She must have been a trouper as a model, some of the poses in the photos look unnatural and uncomfortable.

Better than most of us could have done, including me.

Reminds me of why I am better at shooting motorsports...lol

Thank you all for your comments. I appreciate all your replies. Keep them coming. And yes, these shots were made with 2 flashes. Only Pic 02 was done with ambient light.

The only one i'm slightly off about is image number 14, just because it's a funny angle. Still a good photo though.

Except for a couple of them, the photos are generally ruined for me by the lack of proper posing from the model. She just looks awkward and uncomfortable. And I also think her shoes are hideous.
