So i took some shots of my gf a few random ones, just tell me what you guys think...
not enough contrast, and your strobe is too close to the subject.
The inverse square law says that you need to take your strobe at least twice as far, and than quadruple the power for more even light distribution.
#1 looks best to me
Switch, these shots where shot with no strobes or anything i didnt even use flash. All that was used was the lights in the bedroom(overheads)...
It looks like someone punched her in the eye #1...to me anyway. The poses are just kinda...dead and lifeless and if you were going for that you acomplished it. Would she open her eyes? I think 3 with a some better lighting and her looking right out of the picture would wonderful. Next time don't chop her fingers off like in #1 and 3 (trust me, I struggle with this to!). It looks like your focus fell on her hand in #2 and #3 and right smack dab on her chest in #4 Left her face looking a little soft.
These might be better in black and white. I dont like #2 of 3 but #1 could be cool. They make up isnt good thought. I find that less is more
i like number one but something does seem to be missing
dude show her eyes
