Beer and Apples

Cleaning up yeasterday after a BBQ and the sprinklers turned on. I did what any person would do... took a photo. Looking for serious thoughts and critique. rip me a new one. lost the exif... whoops, here you go:

The apples are out of focus and the oversaturated background is distracting.

yes, the background is way distracting. also, since the apples are out of focus it leads me tobelieve its really about the beer, and would be better if the apples weren't even in the shot.

Agreed with Max and newrmdmike. There's no real separation between background and the Corona bottles either.

Plus, I find beer and apples to be an odd combination. It's not like when I get home from a hard day's work I'm like "YEAH! I need some beer. And some APPLES". You know?

However, the bottles themselves look appealing to me (at 9:03am).
