    Oh my, these are nice!!!
    Mostly so the third with the bee in FLIGHT! Wow. I like that one.
    And I wonder: where about in this world has spring advanced that far??? We had another FROSTY night here...

    What kind of gear/settings did you use for these pics?

    I like these pics. I think that keeping the foreground in focus really works here. At the same time I'm glad that the concrete wall in the background is out of focus. The flowers are the emphasis, but the hint of concrete slab is a good contrast of subjects. While the flowers are vibrant, the bees add the life that really spices up the sequence. All three pics together could be a triptych or a documentary.

    i like that chunk of pollen stuck to the bee's leg on the third one.....good stuff....

    well lafoto, im in texas...

    and matt.. thanks for taking an interest in the pics =) im amazed that you figured out that the background was cement. you have a very trained eye!

    anyways, i used my sony dcs-670 for the shots.. i wish i had some more gear, but unfortunately thats all i have to work with at the moment. im just happy i caught those bees!

    Great pics :) Love flowers. I'm in Texas as well, ugh, spring and allergies... :(
