Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I really like this picture of my dog, but I find the black areas of her coat are too dark, while part of the white is almost over exposed. I wanted to lighten the dark parts without way overexposing the white parts, and came up with this. If anyone wants to show me a better way with the original, please feel free (and then explain what you did :p ).

She looks blue. Ha. Ok, so what is shadow highlight, how do I get to it, and what exactly does it do.

Good eye! I was hoping you would notice the color cast...
The tool I mentioned is in PS,.. Image/Adjustments/Shadow-Highlight. Just be sure not to overdo it. Here is a color corrected version, I just used color balance and pulled the blues back ever so slightly in all 3 positions... Maybe a bit green now.

Hmm.. I don't like it. I don't think it's anything you did - the black parts look good. But it's not true to her real colour, so it looks odd to me. I think the ones above are more true to her real colour. But it's fun playing around. Thanx.
