well, as a photo its great, it evokes and uncommon emotion which is something that is hard to do in photography...i see this and get angry...

When I think of someone being struck with a bat though I think of the offender only holding it with one hand.

I feel the victim's point of view but the offender looks like he's getting ready for a pitch. Just my 2 cents

I like the photo, but I am not sure about the color. In my opinion, and for my own taste, I think this would be a more affective photo if it were in a grainy black and white. Either way, good photo.

skates94: Well myself I wouldn't use only one hand if I was to beat someone up I think. But we did try only one hand and I wasn't really satisfied with the result so I went with this one. But I do know what you mean.

|)\/8: I'm not sure if I agree on the black and white. Personally I think that black and white gives a new feel to a picture, a more calm and sometimes nostalgic feel. I went for some greenish colors like in Saw if you have seen those movies. But I will go through the postwork once more and see if there is any way to improve it!

I like, but I'm not sure about the blue aluminum bat. Not sure about the 2 hands as well. You probably would use 2 hands, but from this POV, I feel like catcher behind the plate waiting on a 2-0 splitter.

Me too Mesoam. Nothing makes me madder than someone beating another.

I wonder if the picture could have been "angrier" if instead of a blue aluminum bat, you had used an old beat up Louisville Slugger?
