    they are crazy. I was shocked it let us get as close as it did, and I only had a 250mm lens to work with:(

    Lovely image. I went nuts in Washington a couple of weeks ago trying to get images of a kingfisher. He kept coming back to the same spot over the course of three days, but kept getting spooked just as I was about to shoot. I just have blurs ....

    We were driving around in an airboat, and that little guy just sat there while we inched closer and closer. He was surprisingly cooperative. We also saw a snail kite, which is a pretty rare bird to catch in action too.
