Best Background for Cast Shape Products

Need some sugesstions on background color for cast shape product images. See link below for product images on our website. These were taken by some guys at my plant are not good at all, but would give you some insight into the composition of the product. Thanks!

I don't think the background color really matters much for the photo itself. Although, you might want to consider the color/theme of the web page they will be displayed on, and coordinate them.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if the shapes being grey in color would "pop" better on a certain background. The new website is http://www.deltarefractories.com/newweb and is still under development. If i went white bg, it may be too much white. Don't know...maybe a shade of blue or another color. Also...I am cheap. Could I purchase some thick material at a fabric store for this. It will probably get stained and ruined after the shots.
