Greetings all,
I shoot mainly up close macro, and have tried several black backdrop cloths and paper. The paper is lighter and has no lint issues. The muslin is lighter, but can attract lint. The velvet is the blackest, but has the worst lint gathering issues, and shows some texture in macro. I use an adhesive lint roller on the cloth drops, which helps. Usually I just correct for the lightness in PS with levels or selective color. Any tricks, or backdrop wisdom out there that might be helpful to the workflow?
