best of a bad choice

Just lost my Sony DSC-T1 (don't laugh) and am looking for an equally cool looking camera (I mean super small) but preferably that would take half decent pictures (DSC T1 was pretty bad - lots of red eyes + very weak flash - amongst other things). I am not expecting miracles from such a gadgety camera but this was definitely BAD (esp for $500!).
Any thoughts anyone on DSCT5, T7, T9 or M1 ??
"Sony" suits me better because of Memory chip going straight into my Sony TV and computer (that's how they get you).
Thanks for your help - anyone who has a minute to advise me on this.

Can't really help you on a specific model...but if you want super small...then you get a weak flash and one that is close to the lens...which means red eye.

I've not used T5, experienced red eye on T7 and T9 with red eye reduction ON where I used to work.... M1 looks like a mobile phone gone wrong from pictures although I havent tried it. My advice is try them on in a store taking pictures of the sales person till they cant see (bin there lol.... :x) You experience may be better than I had!

Try not to get too carried away with how it looks... performance is important!
