After enjoying my intro into photography over the past few weeks, I've developed a huge interest in shooting wildlife. Im considering these two lenses. Any thoughts on your end would really help me out.

The first EF 75-300mm USM...
Or the EF-S 50-250mm IS lens...

Will the extra zoom on the 300mm benefit me more than the IS on the 250mm?

I realize these are cheap lenses, but this is my budget. Once I get a bit more seasoned, I will make the jump to a much better lens. Thanks for the help!

I have been weary to buy an EF-S lens because they are not compatible with full frame cameras from what I have heard. Buying a lens is an investment and you will go through camera bodies before you go through your lenses. I would recommend the 75-300 just in case you upgrade to full frame in the future.
Having said that, I think that IS is a great feature on any telephoto lens so...don't take my advice.
