I bought the Kodak Dx6490 a week ago. I'm wondering if there are any other cameras around the same price as this one, but better (as in Mp, performance, etc.)? The camera's don't need to have 10x zoom, but it would be nice if they did.

Im not too much into digital, but one advice Id like to give you is DO NOT LOOK FOR A HIGER MPixel rating. Image/colour quality especially in challenging conditions such as low-light is the most important thing.

Yeah im aware of that. Kodak's JPEG compression is mad, that's why I'm looking for an other camera.

    Have you checked www.dpreview.com?

They run pretty thorough tests on a lot of digitals and post not just a review, but the actual test shots, etc.
