I know that actually the situation in which I took this one was lighter. (Hence the overexposure on her face in the first place ). But I am happy to see that you are still interested in trying to help me rescue this particular photo of my daughter!!!

My LCD monitor is awful for showing brightness.

Probably be able to lighten it with simple brightness/contrasts from there.
