Was helping with a bird of prey demo yesterday. Was pretty cool, i had a bird on my hand all day long. Sometimes a falcon, sometimes and eagle owl or a barn owl. Those eagle owls are pretty heavy....like 2 kilo. Doesnt sound like alot, but when you are standing for 30 minutes with a bird like that on your hand, your arm begins to ache
We didnt fly with the birds this time, just show and tell. Were lots of people in the place and interested too. So, it was a great day. Didnt take too many pictures though.
But here are 3 that i likes:
Barn Owl, bit soft but i still like it

Falcon, a hybrid (so a crossing between 2 falcon species)

Eagle Owl, gotta love those eyes

    Thanks for looking

Must be great getting that close to these birds. That last one is very impressive.

Wow, these are really nice. The Falcon and the Eagle Owl are sharper than the first, but other than that the first one is really cool too.

The Falcon is awesome, and the eyes on the Owl are beautiful.

thanks for the comments and compliments :)
The reason why i posted the first pic (eventhough its soft) is because i never seem to get a shot of a barn owl like that. Looking straight into the camera. And now i did, so i had to post it :)
