    Just kidding... But it is severely underexposed. He just looks like a dark shadow amongst a dark image.

    My monitor must need to be completely recalibrated because it looks just a tad dark to me.

    That would probably fix it. A lot of the images in your Flickr are really dark too.

    I didn't see the original, but I really can't see a bird. I had to look real close on one of the reeds. You either need a bigger lens or get closer....or both.

    I think it would be an OK shot, except that the background is too busy for the bird to be so small, and the bird gets lost.

    The lightened version is much better, though, yes.

    Yeah, I know it's small. I was testing out my new 70-300, and when I started trying to get closer it just flew away. But thanks everyone.
