    This is actually wild. i saw him sitting on a goal post at cross country reagionals and i spent about 15 min working my way up to him. i was standing about 7 feet away when i took this picture. i went to get closer and then he looked at me and sorta fluffed his wings. I decided he would probably win if he went for my face so i backed off.

    im not sure why there are artifacts in the top....


    anyway, pentax MX @ 200 mm. fugi x tra superia film 800.
    1/1000s F/16.

    Nice! He really let you come close, probably because you moved so slowly. :thumbup: Red-tail hawk, I think?

    I am wondering about the artifact, as well. Is it on the negative? Anything on your other negatives from this roll?

    well, i took a picture of the print with my digital.
    i think its reflected light.

    it doesnt look like that on the neg or the print
