    Wait a sec -- aren't roadrunners supposed to be purple and have a coyote chasing them? :)

    I was going to identify the towhee for you, but was beaten to the punch.

    I love the first image.

    You might try a bit of a crop on your RR images removing some of the foreground and left side.

    Nice. Looks like a good ID to me! I think the roadrunner kind of gets lost in the background (good camouflage, right?). I'll make a note to try and re-edit these along with many others from the Big Bend trip that could use a 2nd pass for improvements.

    Thanks. I believe all three were just with the Nikon 55-200 VR.
