Photos NOT OK to edit
I went to a place today, where they have all kinds of big birds. They had more then 40 of them. It was really nice to see all those different birds.
Most of them weren't in cages, but in some kind of little hut for shelter and they were kept from flying away by a piece of rope attached to their legs. So no cage, which means better pictures.
And thanks for all the inspiration from all the bird pics that i see on this forum, those really helped alot.
Oh and for the bald eagle lovers...................she was away to get some loving and make baby eagles.

what? no replies from Raymond, Chiller, Airic..? Hehe, I'm breaking a tradition, here.
Well, I'll be the first to say that these are awesome shots, and I leave the details to the specialists listed above ;)

^^^ i agree, most of them are amazing but some may have benifitted from a smaller DOF

3rd and 2nd last are great. The details are so crisp! Especially in the third last, the touch of movement on the wings with the eyes.. whoah.! What lens were you using for these shots?

P.S. Don't you hate pesky cage wires :S

thanks for the replies everyone :D
I used a Tamron 70-300mm lens for these. And cage wires are indeed pesky things.
I shall try to remember to make some pics of the set up, the next time ill go there.

there are some beautiful birds you captured there, nice work. i love the camouflage in #5!

ssschmokin shots. Really tough to pic a fave....but.. Im gonna have to go with 9, then 8, then the 4th. Killer job. Looks like a really cool place.
