Looks like he came out of the move The Jungle Book. Like he's scratching an itch and going to sing the "The Bear Necessities". Looks like one relaxed bear to me.

For those of you old enough to remember, I thought of the Hamms Bear commercials when we photographed this.

At the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary the Black Bears are wild. It's in a remote area and the bears are free to leave the sanctuary's boundaries at any time.
