It's the day after Thanksgiving...the single most busiest shopping day of the year. Most places in the U.S. have HUUUGE sales with hot ticket items at rock bottom prices...stores often open super early to accomodate all the shoppers, and usually STILL there are people lined up at the door to get in. One of my jobs is doing the bookwork for my step-dads construction company...I was talking to one of our reps from a large chain hardware store (Menards), and he said last year, it was 4:30 in the morning when he got to work...the store didn't even open til 5am, and there was already abou 40 or so people waiting outside. When the doors opened, it instantly went from silence, to madhouse...he said it was sooo comical seeing ladies with shopping carts make wide running turns around the corner looking for the TVs and DVD players they had on sale. Funny stuff. Unless I'm forced to work, I avoid any retail facility at all costs.
