    According to the zoo sign posted by the Rhino pit, this is a highly endangered species.

    I was on a safari in Africa last year and they said the same thing. We only saw one

    They have two of them (I think) at the San Diego Wildlife Park...and they told us the same thing...very few of them left.

    The one in the photo was also one of two at the Miami Metro Zoo, an adult and a small one. This is another shot of the same rhino.
