black & white filter

    Can others edit my Photos:
    Photos NOT OK to edit
    Hi,

    I have a Nikon D50 and i was wondering if there is a filter that i can buy to make the pictures black & white so i don't have to do it on the computer?

    No. You have to do it on the computer.

    If you don't, you risk a slow and painful death, not to mention really crummy black and white photos. Few things in the photographic world are technically easy.

    use your computer. It's easy...lol.
    there is no such filter...and if you choose B+W on your camera, the quality is garbage.

    I agree to the above, if you want the "simple" way why bother with the D50. Alot of point-and-shoot cameras have a B+W mode that will shoot perfectly serviceable B+W images the complication start as soon as you buy your SLR and that is also when the quality goes up. By the way can someone delete the other 2 posts??? or I guess they can ust die a slow death of dropping down and down til they are gone. I hope this is a busy weekend.
