Bland Hawaii sunset

    Hard to capture a sunset when there is no sun.

    Actually it can be easier to capture a sun set scene when the sun is not visible. It may lack the striking colors that we usually see with a typical sunset but the mellow tones can be just as interesting.

    I like this one but it seems to lack a strong point of interest. Maybe a brightly colored sun would have added interest but then you would loose the tone that you have now. Maybe something like the silhouette of a surfer or something would have given a bit more interest.

    Tnx. I was going for the reflection of the clouds in the wet sand. I took some more up close pics of just the sand and the water retreating. I'll try to dig those up tonight.
