Greetings from Spain.
Love the work. Thanks for sharing.
Nice work. You timed #4 really well.
Can you provide more info on lens, distance etc. These are fantastic!
Canon 5D, 400mm f4.0 IS DO lens with a 1.4 teleconverter for 560 total mm. ISO 200. shots varied from f8 to f11, 1/500 to 1/1000 sec. Focus was manual on infinity. Distance varied rapidly I was right on the waterfront, so as close as you could get. Maybe 300 yards at closest approach? I suppose I could calculate it since I know how long the aircraft are. I'll have to think about that.
That sounds like math to me. The info you provided is plenty to get the idea. I missed our airshow this year, but next year I'll be back (hopefully) with digital to get my right-side sunburn.
Breathtaking. Awesome! I wish I & my camera could have been there with ya! I'm envious! Great job!!
Dust? What dust? Are you sure you saw dust?
I have to agree, these are spectacular shots. Just amazing, I've been looking at these for about 1/2 hour now.
