Photos NOT OK to edit
Took a break from shooting the wifes vintage sewing machines and decided to try something a little different.
(ok, not much different)
this is a Husqvarna 234D Serger (overlock machine)
using 4 spools, it can stitch 2, 3, and even 4 threads at a time.
The wife uses it for finished edges on blankets or clothes.
And, its blue.

I know I know...friggen shiny white parts. :mad-new:
not technically blown...but close.
two lights, clamshell style. I tried single lighting this a bunch of ways, but the shadows were just too bad without the second light. this was also shot portrait orientation, and i shot it pretty tight. there was very little cropping done.

I'm a big serger fan, here is a short video of me running my Merrow M3-DW

I like your wife's Husky to, I'd like to try running a consumer type machine just to see what it's like in comparison. Nice photo too!

Very cool!
The serger doesn't get used as much as the other machines, but it is surprisingly sturdy.
