    werid cloud right in the middle. looks like a mushroom cloud. nice shot

    Thanks. The weird cloud was a thunderhead beginning to form. The mountains around here are the birthplace of many thunderstorms.

    Thanks to all of you. It is a very nice view of the western Blue Ridge at this point on the BRP. It is at its highest point in Virginia here.

    Very nice. I live a bit north of that but love the mountains and see them every day when I walk outside or look out the windows. You are right about the thunderstorms but need to add the constant winds we get too.
