boarders?

I've got quick question. As I've been looking around on this forum I see a lot photographers using some type of border. I always put a logo on my photos but what do you think about boarders? Do you use one? Just wondering.

I think you mean "border". A "boarder" is someone who rents a room from you.

I'm not crazy about borders, as I think the photo should speak for itself. However, a thin one can be attractive. Those messy borders bug me, LOL. Makes me think of scrapbooking.

i use a small .5" white, black or sometimes styled border for stylish looks. It makes the picture look better, really. I put my full name at about 10-12 font size in the lower right hand corner. Works good.

Thanks - I was just wondering about it. I like them but have never really used them. Just wondering if it was a more professional style.

That was a good comment - It sparked a research bug in me and look what I found - it's a little closer to the end but worth watching for!
