#1 the colors are dull and could use a bit more exposure. i'd also prefer it if the little bit of ground on the left and branch in the upper left weren't there.

#2 is underexposed by quite a bit.

and i think this should be someplace other than the pro gallery.

I like the composition of the shot more in #2. I would have even liked more of a zoom though to eliminate the trees. They seem a little distracting to the overall image.

Ditto, however, I think that if the sky were slightly darker and the foreground was slightly brighter, this would be even more appealing to me.

^ Yeap I agree with that too...technically if I'd taken the exposer from the boad I think that could be achieved.

Composition, color and exposure are weak.
Needs more focus on the subject, I assume it is the boat. Colors are dull and lifeless.
The second photo is heading in the right direction, the first shot looks like something shot from a car as you were driving by.
