Bogen Manfrotto 3280B tripod bag any good?

So I cannot decide between the carry strap or the bag for my 3021, anyone use the bag? Is it water proof, I am assuming I can fit it in the bag still with a ball head on??

So many questions, so little time.

I personnally think a strap is better as it is quicker to set up the tripod if you don't have to take it out of the bag. I have a bag for my tripod and once the tripod is out it does not go back in before I have finished shooting.

Thanks Steph, I was leaning towards the strap before finding this bag. But the argument for a strap is spot on. I'm considering the strap now and later if I have to travel a lot with it I may then consider the bag.
