Boring Photograph - Im Not Sure

    im not 100% how i feel about this shot, just wonering what you guys think

    The depth of field could have been better, the bottom of the plant is out of focus. Or is this how you wanted it to turn out?

    yeah, its pretty much how i wanted it, what do you mean better?

    i think it would have been better with the whole plant in focus (better depth of field is what i think HoboSyke meant)

    ahh yes, less shallow?

    yeah think i agree, im just not sure about it. some views i like it and sometimes think its rubbish :p

    No, the DOF does not work for me either. I also do not like the color, the stalk seems to have a purpleish hue that clashes with the green background.

    I like the simplicity of the shot, and i think it would make a cool desktop shot, and the icons are messy enough. Thanks to pursuer for pointing out something that my un-educated eyes would not have seen.
