In the late 80s I used to take my 86 Escort GT out at night and drive some excellent curvy/hilly roads in the area which can really only be done at night with no traffic. Then later on I upgraded to a Mustang Cobra And still did night drives.

I'd only get about 5-9mpg on the track
24 on the highway in 5th doing 55.

I used to take my 250rwhp miata out to the track, pwn n00bs, and still make 20 something MPG (okay not really).

As much as I would love to have a little sports car to play around in on occasion. I am happy to get my kicks from this.

I get between 40-45mpg babying it. And by babying it that means not running it past 6k RPM which still allows me to out accelerate just about any car on the road.

I miss my motorcycles - I had a 2001 Ninja 250R which was fast considering (not as fast as an Aprilia 250) but could still out accelerate most cars. And a 2001 Honda VFR 800 with triple cars in bright red. That was fun but too heavy & tall for me.

What bike is that - a vstorm ?

It is a Suzuki, but it's not a Vstrom, it's a Bandit 1200.
