^^^ We always called them docklines when we moored our sailboat. Maybe it's just semantics. I did a google search on 'dock lines definition' and came up with: [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]"Ropes specifically made up for use when securing the vessel to the dock".[/FONT]
