I would like to suggest: that instead of calling it Brain Damage, that you call it Dain Bramage.

The piece of coral is about 18" across and a perfectly round dome. It was kind of self-vignetting.

It was a weirdly mesmerizing image to me right out of the camera. The high detail and intricate structure contrasting with the maze-like fuzzy blobs. I did give it the pink, fleshy brain coloring. The coral is bleached and pretty much looked like a b&w.
