Hi all, a couple of weeks ago we headed out to Calderwood woods near East Calder to get fresh air around our lungs. There had been a quite few bare trees and these branches caught my eye in the cloudless sky.

Nice, simple, well focused composition on only the two elements that caught your attention, so you "took them out of context" and gave them "a being of their own" in this photo. This is one aspect I so like about photography, i.e. how you can really pick out something, select it from a whole, and make it a new, separate whole.

Is it an insect flying towards the middel part of your upper twig, maybe? There are other spots in your photo that I can't identify, but that one seems to be a "spot with wings".
