Looks like a fuzzy dark thick line through two different textured light areas. This one certainly could benefit from some HDR techniques.

I would crop out either the top or bottom - probably the top if it were me...

It's out of focus... If you were going for a soft focus, then it's just a little too soft.

i think i blurred it slightly as it was hand held and my dog was pulling also at the time

Wish you had left the other for a comparison, but that being said; it appears to have more detail and not quite as blurred. Still a bit underexposed but I like the crop much better.
