Photos NOT OK to edit
Hi Everyone,
I am new to the boards and photography!
I just thought I would post some pictures for you all critique.
The this one I am going to post, I call Broken.
I took it this past March in NYC.
I hope you all can give me some hints and tips.
But please be kind, I am new to all this.

Bumping....
Hoping to get some helpful comments or suggestions.

It is an interesting subject to be certain, the repeating symmetry that is thrown off by the one out of place portion of the image. The 'problem' with this image is the composition, there is too many lines going this way and that which seems to make it appear snapshotish. Shooting directly on will carry this symmetry together and draw the viewers attention to the main subject, the broken window - perhaps even a gritty black and white conversion would work.
However, I do like how you obivously have your eyes pealed for different subjects which others would easily miss

Hey Aimzy, Good photos for a newbie in photography!

And, like Peanuts said. ^_^

Thank you both for the comments and suggestions.
I was taking a tour on a tour bus, thought it would be the best way to get out and see all the hot spots in NYC.
So for me, just starting out in photography, traveling on moving bus through SoHo and Greenwich trying to get some good angles and what not to a shot, was the challenging part. Nevermind, trying to duck and not get hit by tree branches. lol
