    Random shot I took while getting food. I totally forgot how many shoes you could find up on power lines in Brooklyn.

    A Schindler's List kind of selective color.
    Quite nice.

    wow, great shot. I definitely agree with the Schindler's List reference.

    Thank you very much. I think im embarrassed to say I dont remember the movie Schindler's list its been a very long time since ive seen that movie.

    If you get the chance to see it again, there is a stunning use of muted selective color in one long sad scene.
    I won't spoil it by trying to describe it. The best use of selective color I can recall.
    Your use very much reminds me of that. Very evocative and it certainly makes this shot.

    A simple but interesting shot. I'm not usually a fan of selective colouring but in this case it works. :thumbup:

    People really hang shoes on the lines? Why?
    I thought this was just in movies and books.

    I love the selective color... but i always love selective color :)
    They would've faded into the background otherwise.

    to be honest I have no idea why its done.

    I love selective coloring as well, thx for the comment.
