Tammy I love it. what a wonderful photograph! nuff said!
like it Tammy. what camera do you use ?
did you direct them in their facial expressions, or is the echo of the tragedy/comedy masks by accident?
this photo is very artistic. the lighting adds a dimension of movement; underwater movement. at first i was not sure whether i liked it, but as i looked into the photo more, it grew on me. the photo would not work anywhere near as well without it's aqueous quality.
I use a Olympia D-490Z.... just a basic digital (with zoom .
I asked my kids to lie on the ground so I could take their picture, everything else was pure luck - but I agree... I think the shadowing really adds to this.
Very nice! Definitely one to display.
I am going to have to agree with the comedy/tragedy theory. Definitely one for the "book"!!!
I really like the composition, and while dappled shadows often obscure faces, I think this is a great example of a photo where it works.
Tammy, I'm an old film curmudgeon, but get a Pentax K1000 ($70) and start trying out some BW film.
