British Superbikes were at George Square in Glasgow on the 6th August. It rained all night, my gear got soaked but hey i had a decent spot so i wasn't complaining. Loads of photos here, i'm not looking for critique, just thought i'd share. It's also been a whie since i've done this type of photography so the term "could do better" probably applies. :)

I've got through about half of them so far, i'll post a selection of them here but i'll put them all up on my webpage once they're all done.

Really like #4 and the Legend cars (what they're called in the states) in #18-#20.

thanks. yup those are Legends cars.. pretty nifty things. One crashed into the barriers at one point after losing the backend.. two sets of barriers though, one set about 8 feet behind the other where the spectators are.

Oh, forgot to add the Touring Car, Civic Type-R.

    23. Cut the front off here, doing too much at once, have to manual focus this lens :(

Yeah more or less like i was saying.. i mean you could use slower shutter speeds for more 'motion'.. i kept it at 1/200th as it was the first time in ages i've done anything like this (panning etc) and was just playing safe without completely stopping motion.

Manual Mode. (some in shutter priority but i preferred manual)
    1/200th
    F5
AF-C (manual focus on my wide lens)
Auto ISO (base ISO at 100 & set the max. auto to 1600)
    Single Area Focus.
    Exposure Compensation around -0.7EV
    RAW
    Auto WB

That's about all i can think of. It works for me but my panning or manual focusing wasn't all it could/should have been lol. (i blame the rain on my glasses and viewfinder, made manual focusing a bit touch and go)
