Um...what kinda bug IS that???? Aren't bugs that are black and red (besides lady bugs, obviously) usually the ones you stay AWAY from??? Great shot, by the way!

These are very cool shots, very good firsts! I really like the colors and the DOF on the flower one. The bug one is a good shot, but that bug is really gross!!! uke-rig:

Well I have to confess.

I used photoshop to get that bokeh. It took me nearly an hour and a lot of reading of photoshop tutorials to get that DOF.

Ok, when I commented before I was using dial up at work, and it didn't load all the way...and I must say that the bug crap is just...DISGUSTING!
