    Apart from the funny laughing sounds they make, I really think they've got the funniest clown-faces in birds' world! Something cheeky there is about them... ;)

    hehe yeah kookaburras are cool.

    Hey Ian, you should come up here. At my place we have a huuuge raintree in our backyard and it's home to heaps of kookaburras and lorikeets, and sometimes cockatoos as well.

    I enjoy bird-watching, and I think I'd go nuts if I saw these cool looking guys in my back yard!! :D They are so exotic-looking to me.

    I'm jealous of y'all! We have sparrows and robins and cardinals...nothing near as cool as those! Around here, you only see those in cages! Oh, and Meysha mentioned Cockatoos...we used to have one of those (my parents, I mean)...still have a blue and gold macaaw, and a quaker. :)

    I never knew what a kookaburra looked like!
