American General in Iraq contacts President Bush

'Pardon me Mr. President, I have some horrible news'

    'Yes General, what is it?'

'We lost 8 Brazilian soldiers in intense fighting today sir'

    '8 Brazilian? Thats horrible news'

'Yes sir, it is very horrible'

'How many are in a Brazilian anyway?'

    For a Mainer, you're a party pooper. I'm disappointed.

    But correct.
Anything with political overtones - even jokes - has a habit of quickly getting out of hand. For this reason anything political or religious is strictly forbidden here.
It may seem a bit excessive to some but I have seen too many bush-fires here so know it's a sensible rule...

Maybe I should have said 'thread wars'....

No political overtones there ... but then you're a Canadian ... probably just an honest mistake ...

The boys above are correct. No political anything here.

It's a rule I hope we never decide to get rid of.
